"I compare myself to a turtle" says Arquianys Martinez, 15. She will receive her high school diploma from Lawrence High School on June7/2009.

Arquianys, originally from Dominican Republic came to US when she was 8 years old. She managed to learned English while enrolled in several after-school programs.
